Enjoy the tastes and culture of the South Coast from Batemans Bay to Bodalla
Leaving from Batemans Bay at 10.30am you will go to the Oyster Shed overlooking the beautiful Clyde River, where a 4th generation Oyster farming family member will give shucking demonstrations and talk about the history of Clyde River oyster farming. A platter of oysters and nibbles will be enjoyed before getting in the bus and heading to Elysium Wines, near Mogo. Try the unique wines made from locally sourced native bush fruit and herbs, and try some of the other products that are made from these Australian ingredients.
Travel a short way to Moruya, to enjoy a fine dining experience at The River Restaurant, overlooking the stunning Moruya River. Enjoy lunch and a complimentary glass of wine before getting back on the road and finishing at the historic township of Bodalla, where you will visit the Dairy Shed, partake in cheese tasting and a tour of the factory before having the chance to visit the many local boutiques in the town including Hippie Sticks incense and clothing and The Bodalla Lavender Shop.
From Batemans Bay: $130 per person including lunch, on Saturdays or when available by request.
Pick up at 9.30am at the Visitors Centre, Princes Hwy, Batemans Bay (near McDonalds). Return 4.30pm.
